How PC Gaming Has Evolved Throughout the Years

It has always been a battle between gaming consoles and PC gaming. While consoles have gained patrons over the years—from Sony’s PlayStation to Microsoft’s Xbox—there’s no denying that people are hooked to PC games.

The early 2000s was a great year for gamers all over the world. It was an era where many console games were also created for PCs. This urged developers to create their own games. The most popular ones include Minecraft, League of Legends, The Sims, and World of Warcraft.

Since these games were only available for PC, gamers started to shift from their gaming consoles to their computers.

Before everyone knew it, hardware upgrades were built to make PC games faster in performance and more vivid graphics-wise. Just swap the video graphics card or computer processor and you’ll get crisp, smooth visuals.

Instead of a controller, gamers can now use just their keyboard and mouse to play.

The most exciting part is that they don’t have to buy a console or upgrade their machines each time the latest versions come along.

The advantage of gaming consoles, on the other hand, is that they are specifically built for games. They can withstand their demands better than most PCs.

But with the latest technologies constantly stepping up, PC manufacturers continue to find ways to upgrade their computers. In fact, you can now get a powerful gaming laptop without breaking the bank. These computers are already built for play, which makes them a delight to PC gamers all around the globe.
