5 ways an Apple Watch can make your life easier

Nowadays, everyone is busy juggling work and personal life. Not to mention the fact that you’re probably glued to your phone to communicate with everyone in your life. So when your phone is charging or you don’t know where to find it you probably freak out just a little bit. But Apple has arrived with a solution to your problem: The Apple Watch. The Apple Watch has many of the same competences as the iPhone. This way, you can put your phone down sometimes and make your life a little bit easier. But why is it going to make your life easier? That’s what you’re going to read in this article.

1. Ability to receive calls

Are you the type of person who leaves their phone lying around everywhere, then the Apple Watch is definitely the right accessory for you. Why may you ask? Because if you leave your phone inside while you’re jumping on the trampoline with your kids, you can just pick up the phone right then and there. This will let go of the hustle of running inside to see who is calling you.

2. Find your iPhone

If you really are the type of person who just leaves your phone everywhere… Then the ‘Find your iPhone’ application on your Apple Watch is a real lifesaver for you. With a few taps on the screen of your Apple Watch your iPhone will start to beep or flash the LED light and you can continue to look for it.

3. Apple Pay

Instead of looking for your wallet everywhere, you can use your watch to pay. Of course, Apple Pay can be used on your iPhone as well. But using Apple Pay on your Apple Watch is much easier than on an iPhone. You just have to double-click on the side button and your card will appear on the screen. The best thing is you don’t need any authentication. This is because every morning when you put on your watch, you have to verify by passcode that it’s you. Even with big payments such as the purchase of a hot tub (dutch: hottub) or inflatable bubble bath (dutch: opblaasbaar bubbelbad) at your closest jacuzzi outlet.

4. Water resistant

One of the best pros of the Apple Watch is that it is (unlike other Smart Watches) water resistant. Most people get really anxious when getting a drop of water on their watch, well that’s not necessary with the Apple Watch. You can easily watch the dishes without having to remove the watch. Not only can you shower with the watch, but you can also go for a swim!

Another water related task on the Apple Watch is Lock and Rejecting. Even though the watch is water resistant, you help the watch by turning on the Water Lock. Then the watch knows it is going to contact water. Done with showering, swimming or washing dishes? Turn the lock off and it will reject the water automatically.

5. Receiving of notifications

When you don’t have your phone laying around, you can receive notifications on your watch. You can even reply by talking to your phone which writes it down in words. If you’re not in the mood for receiving notifications and you still want to use your watch for other functions. You can just mute your notifications, so you don’t get bothered by it.

Another great thing about communicating with the Apple Watch is the so-called Walkie Talkie ability with other Apple Watches. This way you can speak via your watch to another watch. The only difference with a real Walkie Talkie and the one on your Apple Watch is that it doesn’t require you to have a signal.

Are you ready to make your life easier? Go and get the Apple Watch at your nearest Apple store.
